Line drawings in Scribble Portraits

Scribbling techniques in many different mediums and styles.

Liz Y Ahmet takes this interesting technique and does so much with it.

The drawings below were created using: Graphite, color pencils, ink and pastel sticks.

As far as the perspective and style, we have: Frontal portraits, profiles, three quarter portraits and minimalist ones.

All of this description and we haven't even started with the way they look. Each of the mediums and the styles listed above, help give these drawings a different taste. Like using a variety spices in an assortment of foods, to bring out the flavour of is particular and unique dish.

The food analogy has mad me hungry so, if you would like to excuse me, I will be off for a snack while you enjoy Ahmet's work.

Sorry, one last thing... The first two drawings exemplify how a few seemingly random lines, can create such amazing looking faces, features and expressions. Just had to say that...

Ps. I gave the images some titles.
