Kevin Vallentin is the outstanding artist that created the works on this page. This is the explanation on his Instagram page: " I don't know what to draw" I said. - "Then draw me a sheep" she said. - So every day I draw a sheep.
When I speak of an artist, I always try to include what drove them to create art. It usually has something to do with upbringing, love for something/someone or a need to speak for a cause that is not getting enough attention.
Vallentin's description is just as unique as his art. A concise and straight to the point conversation between two people. A conversation that spawned 592 Illustrations plus 44K followers and counting.
The site includes depictions of different sheep, utilising diverse mediums. The ones I chose, are the ones that stand out a little more to me. Celebrities and movie characters for the most.
I am so glad I came across this page. It's art and artists like this that provide the whole industry an amazing breath of fresh air. A process of viewing art in a less rigid, prescriptive and more inspired way.
Unlike 3D movies, you don't need special glasses to see surreal drawings. Just an open mind to enjoy them.
