Charcoal and Pencil Portrait Drawings

Charcoal and pencil portraits tag team each other throughout the page.

Jordanian Artist Ibrahim Al Ali specialises in portraits. There is a high level of emotions expressed beautifully in this post. This is because the charcoal drawing of the children were inspired from Syria. Given all they have been through, the depth of their expressions are not a surprise...

I like Ibrahim's approach to art. As you can see from the portraits below, he draws on all kind of paper. This includes lined paper from a notepad. As some artist say: "Draw wherever you can whenever you can."

A strong, amazing post to end the week and one which leaves us reflecting a little...
