Heidi Marie Smith defines herself as a Character Designer and Illustrator.
The beautiful soft touch of her style gives the animals she portrays, a slightly out of focus finish. It encourages a delicate fantasy look about them.
The fluffy texture of the critters just adds to the feel you get from Smith's art.
I don't know how else to explain the signals exchanged between eyes and brain, when admiring the detailing in Smith's images.
