Medieval looking buildings and architecture recreated in ink drawings.
Julián González de la Montaña creates astonishing urban illustrations using ink and marker pens.
These little towns make you feel like you have travelled back in time. No people to truly verify this, but a strong impression.
There is one person depicted in one of the drawings. That is the artist's fellow sketch artist.
There are so many amazing structures alleys and walkways perfectly represented. So much to say and like about them all.
The most peculiar and lovely, is the third drawing. The one which has three sections of wood supporting the front end of the building, resting on a boulder. Sitting in that room, would fill my head with only one thought... When is it going to collapse. It looks like the building has been there for a very long time yet, that is all I could think of.
Now ready yourself for a form of time travel...
