Vendulka Novotna creates many pieces of art in different mediums. Amongst all of them, I have chosen the animal ones in this style.
These critters look like they are dressed in a technicolor mosaic of glass shards.
The bright colours are another aspect which makes these illustrations stand out. Both pencils and ink fineliners are utilised to achieve this effect.
My favourite from Novotna's collection of drawings are the first four in the order they are displayed. The rest are beautiful as well, but these, stand just above them.
As you will be able to see, there are variations in the style from drawing to drawing. A lovely example of how to keep a connected theme, even through all of the pieces have not depicted in the same way.
