Artist Jake Summerour took part in a yearly artist get together called Inktober.
It's the combination of two words: Ink and October. There are a couple of rules. One is in the name... The piece has to be made using ink. The second, is the prompt. The organisers give a prompt for every day of the month of October. The willing artists, have to come up with a drawing which reflects and encompassed it.
On each day, some of the drawings are chosen by the organisers to be displayed on their Instagram page.
As you can see, this is just above a third of Summerour's pictures for the month. Each one of the pieces has the day of the month and the prompt written on it. This is so you can see the process evolve from inspiration to finish piece. The titles at the bottom of each illustration, that was given by me.
Now a chance to see lateral thinking take place, in a great artistic mind.
