S. Leysi is the Artist whom created these very useful images.
The photo is the reference, whilst the drawn part seeks to identify all of the features and highlights on the face of the person. If you shift your gaze from one to the other, you can see how the information is carried through the to the drawing. This is a useful exercise not only to identify all of the three dimensional aspects of the face, but also to see where light and shadow fall.
Mapping the face in this way, makes it easier then to fill the entirety of the details.
As well as all I have said above, the proportions and the attention to detail are another aspect which truly impresses. Emotions impersonated by expressions, see these faeces articulate to various degrees. Some exaggerated, to make the final portrait standout even more.
A chance for budding artists to learn some trick of the trade and familiarise themselves more with the human form.
