Digital Artist and Illustrator Fran Garcés created all of the drawings on this post.
Illustrations take form with pen, pencil and digital art software. The latter forms sometimes the entire piece and some times only the colouring. This is when the base drawing is created with a pen or pencil.
I braided the graphite colour ones, with the red ink ones. The first: Mostly deals with dragons and humans. The second mostly with fish and humanoid creatures.
One of my favourites is the drawing of the back of the dragon. Its so unusual to see this angle in art. The expanse of the wings of the flying creature with the spike ridged spine, following the contours of this outstanding looking mythological creature.
A bit of fantasy to start your weekend. I do it in the hope you follow the feeling of this theme and make your Saturday a magical one.
