I love blue pencil drawings. And this is a post full of them.
Cara Baxter is the artist whom created all of the characters you see on this page.
Wonderful sketches of human and animals in very different situations. From more realistic ones, to fantasy and surreal scenes.
Artistically, the two drawings I like the best are: "The pipe smoker." And "The fisherman and the cormorant." I say artistically, because drawings associated with smoking are not held in high regard. When it comes to the fisherman, which is my favourite, some people have a problem on how the bird is used to catch the fish. Textile or string is tied around the neck of the bird, so it can catch it, but not swallow it. The composition of the drawing is beautiful though and that is all I was referring to, in my choice.
