A post which contains a collection of soulful post-it sketch drawings.
Aron Wiesenfeld drew all of the art on this page.
What a wonderful idea... Post-it notes are not the must have item it once was, before the digital age. A way of reminding you of things or of tasks needing doing.
Now you can create lists and reminders on your computer, tablet or phone. When they came out, students' rooms, offices and kitchens, used to be full of these little notes flapping in the wind.
That said, they are still used today and come in a variety of sizes and colours.
There is real depth of subject, in these deceptively simple drawings. Also a lot of detailing, beautifully managed. I am taking about the nighttime drawings. Wiesenfeld manages to maintain a perfect balance between darkening the view, whilst preserving the clarity of the scene.
The drawing which epitomises the thought above, is the fifth drawing down: "Walking at night in torch light."
Enjoy these stories, lived in little yellow squares...
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
