A lot of character injected in all of the protagonists whom take part in this post.
Ukrainian Artist Irina Yatsunskaya brought to life all of the personalities below.
There is something about them which is different from the norm. Many of the portraits below take the form of a semi realistic adaptation, of the human face. Others, a more animated movie approach with different proportions, when it comes to features like: Eyes, noses and mouths.
All that said... There seems to be a common thread linking all of them, in what feels like a very natural grouping. They belong together, even though the subtle differences make them appear to come from different worlds or realities.
The feeling is a rather an abstract one and I am not sure if the explanation follows suit. I hope it's clear enough to understand.
Put in simple terms: I find Yatsunskaya's work very interesting and love her approach to portraiture.
