Fantastic creatures depicted in sweet and delicate strokes. The ink illustrations characterised by thinner and more precise lines. The color pencil ones appear more soft and slightly out of focus, just adding to that magical appearance of the animal.
I love the delicate detailing of the seahorse at the end of this page. The matching shapes in the wings and ears of the cute little winged mouse. The stylised design of the dragon flying over the wishing well. Finally, the relaxed, serene and peaceful look of the cat sleeping on the stack of books. This last one is my absolute favourite.
Any one of these you would love to see running around your house? Running might not be the right term to use for the seahorse... : )
