I love the addition of colour on the ink drawings. It's done so subtly. The colours are light, giving the highlights, a very organic look.
The sixth drawing down is a perfect example of what I was writing above. When I say organic, I don't mean realistic. I mean it follows the laws of lighting, in a very natural way. Another aspect I really like about this drawing, is how linework is used to accentuate the contours of the face and the hair.
The last illustration on the page, a pencil one, is crammed with drawings. On one side of the sketchbook, portraits from different perspectives and expressions, whilst on the other side, poses of women exercising.
