A selection of animal drawings that encompasses mandalas, doodles and zentangles.
Mandala artist ZSH aka ladyzadzakiya created all of the drawings on this page.
If you follow our aite, you know ZSH by now. We have been following her for years, featuring her multiple times on DesignStack. Take a look at the LINK below to see what I am talking about.
In this post, you will be able to find illustrations of animals inspired by different drawing styles. The intricacy and beauty of the pieces are obvious and amazing at a glance.
I always prefer black and white to colour when it comes to drawings. In today's post though, I have to revise that choice. My absolute favourites are all sporting multiple hues.
They are in fact the first three drawings down. The effortless style of the manta ray. Both in the illustration and in real life. The whimsical appearance of the whale and the playful, serene atmosphere of the cat playing with the butterfly.
ZSH does an outstanding job when applying colours to highlight and layer the ink patterns below it. In turn, the latter are beautifully placed and angled to follow the contours of the critters' bodies.
Each illustration is more beautiful than the next and that is why we keep going back to visit her work, time after time.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
