Artist Tara drew and painted all of the art you see on this page.
They look like little portals to faraway lands. Amongst them are are a couple of worrying ones. Most of all is the one of the Kraken or the octopus-like creature. It seems to have broken the glass and is now trying to enter our world. The other one is the second depiction down. The artist is actually pouring the contents of that world into ours. Is that even safe? : )
Let me see what I can pick as a favourite... First is the octopus. One of my favourite animals and definitely gets a spot up there. There are a few lighthouse depictions. That said, they are all different. Take for example drawings 2 and three. Where one is being poured out, whilst the other one seems to be shaken by the artist.
The anglerfish gets chosen for the sheer weirdness of the fish. The last choice is also the last image on the page. Yes, it's the mermaid. She actually seems to see us and wants to make contact with us? Maybe warn us of something? Maybe asking for help... This one is my top pick. The one that springs up immediate questions, without having to think about them.
