Black and white drawings off of a sketchbook, with a splash of red colour and a cute little red fox.
All of the art on this page was created by Christina Zobnina.
Such a distinctive set of drawings. Most of it is in black and white, except for the protagonists (this includes a lovely red fox) and the parts the artist wants us to pay attention to.
They look like snapshot pictures that include different activities and seem to bring them to many different sites. Playful, adventurous and relaxing moments. I am talking specifically about the sunset scene and if you look to the left and in the distance, there is a violin player to mark the moment and provide a backing soundtrack.
Each one of these sketches is a lovely little story told with imagery. One that you can fill in with your own thoughts and words.
Zobnina manages to inject a very natural feel into them. By that I mean that nothing feels forced. This is not a need to produce a certain amount of drawings to post, but rather the progression of the lives of two people and their sweet little fox.
You can join the story from the first image and progress it all the way down to the last one. If they have an order, I don't know. This is just how I have arranged them.
Ten drawings that walk you through events without having to expend a word. Sit back and allow Zobnina's work to start telling you thee story.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
