We have been a fan of Kakvei's for many years now and the complexity of the art is where this artist excels.

The other thing I enjoy about the art is how all of the the drawings have a setting and a deeper meaning. There is no reliance just on one aspect of the production of the piece. They all come together to form a complete piece that has a lot to say for itself.

The one asset that artists like Kakvei have is that they started producing at this level before AI made an appearance in the art scene. The thing I most object to, when it comes to AI, is when it's passed off as human-made or copies the work of an existing artist. I also don't like the consequences of AI. That is people calling anything that is exceptional, AI-created. They do so without any research or proof and end up damaging legitimate artists. The ones they profess to be safeguarding. Because of this, I think that hyperrealism is an area that is now out of bounds for humans and complexity and excellence of execution are following quickly behind.

Kakvei provides, on the artist's social media page, videos of the process of drawing. A very interesting insight when you have seen what the finished pieces look like.
