New Frontier Tiny Homes is run by David Latimer, Zac Thomas, Eddie Latimer and their very capable employees. They are taking practical steps to try and get the authorities to recognise tiny houses "as permanent residences in urban settings". This is another quote from their site: "To me, tiny houses are all about living in a more sensible way - economically, socially, environmentally and aesthetically." The trade-off with these homes is that you sacrifice a bit of the space for a cheaper, more affordable home. More and more designers, are trying to make sure that this is the only substantial trade-off, packing a lot of modern comforts in them, so that the adjustment is not that big.
