Lizzy Falcon is a self-taught artist and mainly works with acrylics on canvas. The paintings, although different from each other, have some common threads running through them. The eyes are big and only one is usually exposed, the left one, as it is believed to represent true emotions. The tones of the skins are grey, because she wants people of all ethnicities to be able to relate to them. The final one is, that the images are not of smiling, with symmetrical faces of specific proportions, but of larger features, in deep contrast to what we are told we should consider beautiful.
