Velat Güneş drew all of the art you see on this page.

They are mainly drawn in ink and a little pencil to showcase animals in their best light.

The writing on the page is too small to read. Even then, I like how it forms part of a visual accompaniment to the drawings. They separate them and space them out to add to the balance and the arrangement in the page.

Beautifully detailed drawings that capture the imagination and show animals running, sparring, in different poses, feeding and in quiet conversations... This last one refers to drawing number 9. That is what I imagine is happening between the hen and the cow. The first is whispering some secrets in the ear of the second. No idea what they are saying, but I have some thoughts...

I truly like all of these drawings. My favourite is a strange one, though. It's the last drawing. The image of the dog looking back. The amount of things I can think of. Sad and happy reasons why this dog is pausing in this position. The ideas continue, following what might happen immediately after this image was taken off of its pause setting. Finally, the beautifully elongated silhouette/shadow of this lovely dog. There is a lot going on in this seemingly simple drawing.
