An artist that goes by the name of Alanrap drew all of the art you see on this page.
This post includes straightforward portrait drawings and ones of statues and sculptures. Faces with a variety of expressions can be seen thanks to this excellent artist.
As much as I like graphite portraits, I adore them in colour pencils. Specifically, but not exclusively, blue and red are my favourite.
I don't know if it's because they appear so rarely, but they feel like a treat when they do.
The artist has a wonderfully soft approach to line work and shading. They give the peaces a "removed from reality" kind of feel. A magical in between space where time stands still and you get to appreciate all of the minute facets that shape these faces. The choice of features is something that adds to what I have just said and the enjoyment of Alanrap's work.
