Romanian Artist Paula Duță is a Freelance Illustrator & Designer, who describes herself as having a love for drawing.  Below are three samples of her artwork and our favourites.  The first is the Steampunk Lion, which was a commission 39.3 x 27.5 inches (100 x 70cm) drawn with markers, pens, watercolours and a lot of other materials.  The second one, we think was created when her cat run away, because the drawing carries this note "A wanted poster for my fugitive cat".  And the lovely owl was probably done for the pure joy of it.  We have shown the progression of these drawings so that you can spot and learn some valuable drawing techniques.

Surreal Steampunk - Animal Drawings

Multi talented Russian Artist Vladimir Gvozdev, creates paintings, graphics and sculptures.  His works looks like the notes and experiments of an eccentric Steampunk Scientist.  He creates detailed technical drawings of the animals he wants to create, (beautifully framed in boxes containing, gears, instruments and all sort of  little trinkets, that give them a fantastically Antique look).  He also has variations in the animal drawings, with different concepts for the fish and the Rhino, for example.  He then has a second set of drawings, depicting how humans can use these mechanical animals and lastly some sculptures of his concepts.  Beautiful and Surreal work from a talented Artist.  Enjoy...

Dmitry Filippov is a Russian Artist that creates Digital Art, most of which has a machine based, Steampunk feel to it.  He defines himself as a film production concept and advertising Artist.  As well as Digital Art, he produces Traditional Art and Sculpting.  We love the way he has incorporated some of the Zodiac signs in his digital depictions, that transport you, in a world of mystery and fantasy.

Nicholas Hrabowski started his business when, having always loved skeleton watches, he decided to buy for himself, a pair of watch movement cufflinks.  When he realised that, what was out there was not to his taste, he made them for himself.  Hrabowski has now made a business out of it, with many different variations in design.  Hrabowski uses all sorts of recycled parts, from watch cases and movements to bullets to create these very unique Steampunk Jewelry pieces.

Arturas Tamasauskas is a Lithuanian Artist that likes to get bits an pieces of discarded items like, watches cutlery, shells, car parts, piping and many many more... recycling and upcycling them to make these lovely little sculptures.  Where most people would see a piece of junk that should either go into the recycle pile or the bin, Tamasauskas sees a part to his newest sculpture.  By all accounts birds are the sculptures he most likes to represent due to their particular physiology.  See if you can identify all of the components that form these imaginative sculptures, it is amazing when you really look at the detail.

Susan Beatrice creator of All Natural Arts uses recycled items mixed with a celebration of all things natural to construct these sculptures.  These particular ones are derived by the internal mechanisms, of watches, in a very appealing Steampunk fashion.  Some of them are very intricate and delicate worth spending some time time looking at them.
