Canadian based artist Jackie Bassett uses old books, maps, pressed flowers, vintage photos and many more mediums to create her art on. We have picked her Alice in Wonderland themed work from the many other on her site. There are different variations of the same pictures that can be seen lower down in the article. This is not a new way of producing art, but it is a fitting use of damaged, no longer used paper. We are not advocating pulling apart perfectly good books, but if the alternative is Landfills or even Recycle Boxes, this is in our opinion, a better use. What do you think?
