Akie Nakata, is a Japanese artist that picks stones and then makes the animal paintings fit them.  She doesn't change the shape in any way, just finds the perfect fit, for her sweet little critters.  Above and below, you can see examples of her technique and how she is able to fit the image on the rock she has chosen to display them on.  Because of the uniqueness of the canvas, you are always assure to have a one of a kind, piece of art.
