An artist that harnesses the power of the sun, to create his art.
Jordan Mang-osan, uses a magnifying lens, to scorch the wood or paper, to bring to life his artwork. It slightly differs from the traditional the pyrography technique, in as much as it doesn't use a heated metal instrument, to create the burn marks. A lot of patients and a steady hand are required, to make sure that the focused beam, only scorches the intended parts. Lets not forget the battle with this technique's arch enemy, the clouds. :) Beautifully detailed and perfectly finished drawings, examples below that range from scenic views, to people's portraits.
