He draws and arranges dots, to produce fantastic images.
Canadian Artist Rens-Ink, employs a technique called stippling, to draw his wildlife images. Pen and ink dots, are used to create these drawings, in the darker areas, you have a higher concentration than in the light areas and a complete absence, in the white areas. With this process, you can draw complex shading patterns, by varying the amount of dots. A very laborious process, that requires absolute concentration, to make sure that the desired effect is achieved in every part of the drawing. Unlike a pencil, you cant erase or use blending techniques, if you make a mistake, it's there for every one to see. When I first found out how stippling drawings were made, I appreciated them even more.
