An artist that gives her drawings a really warm feel.
I am not sure if I am going to do a good job explaining this, but here goes: even though these drawings are not realistic and they are in black and white, the really do feel like they are more than just a representation of the physical place and more a collection of the experiences and history of the neighbourhood its self. I think that Asmik Babaian (Асмик Бабаян) achieves this, at least in my opinion, thanks to the choice of the subject she draws and the style she adopts to represent them. I hope you enjoy these sketches as much as I did.
