Small paintings used as warm-ups or studies, expressed in various mediums: gouache, acrylic and watercolor.
Raoof Haghighi is a self-taught Artist, that lives by these words: "Painting is like breathing for me". I always like to see people showing true passion, for their chosen profession. You are able to achieve so much more, when, after spending countless hours on something, you can say it wasn't a imposition, but rather, a true pleasure. These portraits are relatively small and Haghighihas has no problem packing in those the details, that make the expressions and features so recognisable, when compared with our every day experiences.

None of these look like watercolor, to me. Are these a combo of gouache, watercolor and acrylic? What type of paint is in the pans? Can you speak more on your process? Thank you
