Animals beautifully detailed, to bring out their expressions and look their very best.
I could introduce British artist Gary Tymon, or I could use his words, that perfectly encapsulate what he does and why he does it. The following is an extract from his site: "I don't know why I have this desire to draw and paint, perhaps I will never know but when I'm drawing its like time stands still and I can go for hours and hours scribbling away totally engrossed in the picture I'm creating..." I don't usually post drawings that are so heavily watermarked, I understand that for artists, theft of their work is a real problem, people passing them off as their own, or people selling them and keeping the proceeds. A new wave of artists have found, in my opinion, a great way of getting around this problem and retaining the integrity of the image. It is achieved by photographing the work at awkward angles and with them in it, or their hand over part of it. This makes, for me, the art more interesting, as a further dimension is added and it frankly makes it impossible for resale in that format. Tymon's work is so good, that I really didn't want to pass up on it, so here it is, I hope you like as much as I do.
