Molly's Lodge the Smallest Castle in England

Molly's Lodge, is a Grade II* Listed castle, it forms part of a 0.61 acre plot and it's located near the village of Long Compton, in Warwickshire, in England. It was designed by British Architect Edward Blore, in the 1830s and was originally built to be the gatehouse for the Weston Park Estate.  A long driveway takes you through the mature garden that encompasses a pond , a potager with soft fruits, vegetables and herbs, a vegetable patch and chicken run.  When the house was built, they made sure that it was self sufficient and that the people that lived there, would be able to live off of, their own produce.  Beautiful and compact home, with one bedroom living room kitchen, a bathroom and a wonderfully detailed iron spiral staircase.  The house was priced by Savills at £550,000 about $714,000.  There is another building that forms part of this package and the plot, it is Molly's Mews, a building with a double garage, office, and one bedroom apartment.
