Ballpoint Pen drawings, that look like black and white and color photographs.
The following is an extract of Shelley Ashkowski's description of her work: "My work is a commentary on the modern world. The urban landscape presents a conflicting scene: beautiful and ugly; quiet and chaotic; a place of happiness and sadness. Through my work I seek to observe the turbulent relationship between man and the world he created." Attention to detail and precision of execution, are two qualities that are usually associated with this talented British artist. The drawings chosen for this post, mostly centre around different London landmarks, with Paris and Havana making an appearance as well.

ReplyDeleteAnd the most amazing thing is that they are drawn with ballpoint pens, no room for error.
