American Artist Jamie Wells creates these smooth shaded drawings; they could have been commissioned by a TV or movie studio, for an up and coming, sci-fi adventure.
They have that polished and ethereal look, that reminds me of some of the aliens in the show, Defiance.
Some of the detailing is so subtle and smoky; it becomes a real achievement, when you find out that they were drawn in pencil and one charcoal. I am used to seeing this level of finish, just in digital art.
I really hope that a selection of these characters find their way to the big, or small screen; they really are perfect for the genre.
