An array of portrait mediums and techniques.

Japanese artist Yuko Makimura (まきむらゆうこ) experiments and expands the knowledge in her craft, by not sticking to one thing.

Makimura treats us to a variety of different mediums to showcase how unique portraits can look. At the same time, how the emotions and expressions transcend mediums.

We have here, to name a few: graphite, color pencils including pastel. Charcoal, splashes of paint and probably more...

Straight-forward portraits and ones illustrating an action like: Playing the violin or taking a photo. A celebrity couple and the rest I will leave for you to explore and find out...
