Iraqi Artist Husam Wleed makes another welcome appearance here on DesignStack.
He has a very distinctive style, that looks like a mixture of digital art and hyper realism. That said, these portraits are drawn traditionally; involving various degrees of minimalist art using charcoal and chalk pastel on painted wooden boards.
There is an addition to the title and the description above: The last drawing is of a dancer wearing ballet shoes. The photo is a beautiful one, but the shimmering shoes in the drawing, have that lovely shine you see in glass and water. That is why I included them, I like them too much to leave the out.
