An artist that goes around and makes our cities more colorful.
NYC Artist Tom Bob searches for and picks detailing that is not always so nice, well finished or maintained. He gives them a new life by transforming them into a piece of art.
A lot of thought and artistry have to go into each illustration, to make sure the detail that is getting transformed, is shown at it's best in the piece and fits in its natural urban environment.

ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right. There are so many things we have grown used to ignoring They have become, for intents and purposes, invisible to us.
DeletePieces like these, make them visible again in a way they were never expected to, when constructed.
