Different Approaches to Charcoal Drawings

An array of variations in style, when it comes to creating charcoal portraits.

Josh Hernandez showcases the beauty of his work and art in general.  He does this by showing us how many ways they can be achieved, whilst using the same medium.

The thing that unifies these pieces is not only their differences, but also their capacity to communicate emotions though expressions.

Great art that also gives you something to think about as well as to enjoy.

  1. I really like the ones w the squares in them. To me its like pieces we might not get to see otherwise are popping out and coming tog eventually w the others. interesting.
i also like "subtle smile" a lot as well, its like out of the dust comes this face!

    1. When I saw the variety and how Hernandez experiments in his work, I was hoping it would carry, if shown on this post.

I am glad to see your reaction to it.

      Have a great Saturday.🌿️🌺️🌿️
