Architectural Drawings on Cardboard

00-Architectural-Drawings-Ebtehal-Salah-www-designstack-co
An ingenious idea to add interest to your art.

This is the work of Libyan Architectural Student and Artist Ebtehal Salah.

I am extremely impressed with Salah's inspired work. Not only does she use a product like cardboard, which is discounted by many as a cheap material. Further more, she ads a huge amount of 3D texture in her pieces.

This is achieved by cutting into certain parts of the sheet to reveal the ribbed internal portion.

Salah slices different designs to make each piece unique. In the process adding a beautiful background to the building, she is depicting.

I hope that Salah's work inspires your Sunday.

  1. I like the added gem of texture in these drawings. It gives them something that can't be found in the general use of drawing mediums. I like it when people think out of the box in how they use what is around them.

Did you draw directly on the cardboard or you drew on paper and pasted it?
