Sweet drawings that pull at your heartstrings.

Julie Mellan is known for her watercolor illustrations in children's books. As well as creating, she teaches; passing on all the experience and knowledge she has accrued thought the years.

All that said, I am picking her ink and pencil sketches for today's post. Cute expressions and lovely protagonists, are what makes the drawings on this page something special.

I have had an amazing time putting these illustrations together from Mellan's Instagram page. Imagining all the things each character was getting up to and possibly thinking. Let the art on this page gently carry you on the best of imaginative trips...
