Akie Nakata combines very different but complementary talents, to produce her art.
When Nakata picks natural stones, she has to use imagination and inspiration to come up with the right animal or animals, to fit them. Then she has to have the skill to make it look just like the real critter.
I Think that Nakata excels in both of these qualities. I have added before and after shots. Plus one that includes the front and the back of the stone to see the complete design and painting.
Talent and a great choice of animals, make this post a stunning visual walk through. I am hoping you will enjoy as much as I did.
