It's quite rare to find drawings of men by artists these days. Especially in these numbers.
I like the difference showcased in the lighting and backgrounds. This makes the work as a hole look less homogeneous and prescriptive.
Genuine looking expressions and subtle detailing is what makes me feel like I am looking at the image of a real person. Even though it's not realistic (that is a small detail that disappears when you are focused on the portrait).
