Abstractions in Zentangle Drawings

Many abstract qualities in zentangle drawings.

Artist Sandra Waugh Vaughan takes these little squares and fills them with lovely images.

Some of them resemble well-known things, others need more of a leap into the imagination to interpret them.

I don't think relating them to existing things is the reason behind this form of art. I just find it fun and interesting to do. Like looking at clouds in the sky and have them remind you of something or someone.

Appreciating art for art's sake, is another way to go about it. Whichever way you approach this page, enjoy the experience.
