A Mixture of Ink Illustrations

Concepts and thoughts explored in ink illustrations.

Deepwhite has created a lot of art which follows many diverse subjects. To name a few: Movies, magic, architecture, manga, fantasy/surrealism and so much more...

There are aspects of it, which could be seen as a downer or depressing. If there was no counterpart in real life I would agree and would not include them.

The fact that they exist and affect us, means that creating art, can be a fist step to confronting difficult subjects. A way of dealing with, rather than avoiding it and suffering from the effects.

So many artists creating art in many different mediums, tell of how the act of externalising a thought through a piece has a healing feeling and effect.

Painting, drawing, movies, music... Anything that gives shape to what you are feeling. A way of bringing it out of your brain. Then you can inspect and understand it better, in order to deal with it.

The beauty of Art is that it's layered.  It looks the same to everyone from the outside, but hides different meanings below.  A piece can be as deep as you want it to be.  Just stop peeling away the layers when you are done.

As always, enjoy Deepwhite's outstanding work and you Friday.

Ps. I gave the images some titles.
