Scottish Artist Jill Islay takes us on a fantasy filled journey with her black and white art.
Her work touches on very many different themes.
Two of my favourites are the camping in the snow globe. The first looks to me like a cherished place to preserve a memory.
The other one is the last illustration. I love the idea of having hopes and dreams hanging like balloons. You you have to reach up to experience them.
I guess that the parallel continues when you compare dreams to the balloons. If you leave hope too long to achieve, you will eventually run out of time to do so. Same with the balloons, eventually will wither and fall to the ground.
No time to waste! Make sure you get at those balloons when they are at their peak and enjoy the rewards.
