Many amazing zentangle designs await you in this post.
The following, is the work of Artist Mikiko Morikawa (森川みきこ), whom lives and works in Osaka, Japan.
Geometry takes over in a big way in this style of art. Pure geometric shapes are flanked by ones which include animals. They take differing forms: with a realistic or sketch like body.
Beautifully detailed drawings accentuated by subtle colour use and shading techniques.
I have a couple of favourites. My absolute one though, is the one containing the two feathers. One seems to be based on an average bird and the second one, on a peacock's feather. I really like the flowing curves and impressed with the addition of the magnificent patterns.
Enjoy Morikawa's work and your Sunday.
