Second recent outing for Artist Greg Simkins. I didn't want to do one post encompassing both of them. They have their similarities but are also very distinct pieces of art.
Surrealism is definitely strong in this post. Each illustration depicting a frozen moment in time, which is waiting for the play button to be pressed, for the story to continue.
There is so much going on in each image, that it would be so easy to use them as sprouts for many different, fascinating and interesting stories.
Also, a couple of hat tips in the form of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland and Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio.
