South Korean Artist MULL explores emotions and expressions at one of their starting points. Not at the starting point of the feeling rather, the one of the human shape. Here, not everything is defined or perfectly expressed.
This aspect of it is not a fault. I see it as a fantastic strength of a beautiful form of art. It leaves more to the imagination and interpretation. I see something in sketches that seems to be lost, when it forms the base of a detailed drawing and the final piece is completed.
The raw expression helps communicate the feeling the model projects and the artist so skilfully captures in these portraits.
