Poland-based Vitor Velez has a love for nature and animals. I am sure you will agree with me, this comes out loud and clear in the illustrations below.
The animals are a combination of ink, colour pencil and watercolor paint. The writing is created with a fineliner.
The latter has its own artistic space on the page. They are notes regarding the animal depicted. The words almost comes across as abstract doodling. The result? The calligraphy incircles and frames these beautiful and varied species.
A very original way of connecting the illustration and information about them. Now a chance to have a better look at them both.
