Drip Painting Portraits

Drip painting portraits. This is not only the title of the post, but also the technique of the style.

Ole Hedeager creates these portraits full of texture. The detailing is more akin to a scribble sketch drawing. That said, everything which counts, is as clear as a realistic portrait. I am talking about emotions and expressions. Both fly off the surface to inform our brain of exactly what the model might be feeling.

Different approaches and colours, used to explore and express the nature of the model as seen by this talented artist.

The first two and the "Taking a moment..." paintings, are my favourite. All for different reason. They encapsulate and do many things I like of portrait drawing and painting.  Superb work.

Have a look through them and see which ones grab your gaze and will not let go...

Ps. I gave the images some titles.
