A South Korean Artist whom goes by the name of okArt creates many pieces on her site. Amongst my favourite, are the depictions of women and birds I posted today.
The cute little animals are sometimes nestled in the hair or sitting on the shoulder. Other times, they are perfectly placed to lineup with one of the eyes of the model.
These pencil drawings are beautiful in their own right. The slightly fantasy whimsical aspect of the concept, just adds to it.
My favourite is the second one down. It's the combination if the minimalist approach to the portrait and the obvious comfort of the birds experience around her.
